This i tell you is an accidental purchase, i have tons of eyeliners to finish in pencil and pen-types. I was just browsing blogs and came across some reviews of this gel liner, after a few more reviews i was put in to trance and ordered this item right away.
The consistency looks thick but it is actually like it's name, very fluid when applied. It is so easy to swipe a line with this liner that it makes me feel i can also easily make a mistake applying this. You need an eyeliner brush to apply this, or a pencil brush, or any liner brush you are confortable with. It glides in your skin seamlessly without any tugging, unlike my Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner that tends to tug on my lids when applied.
It is very opaque with just one swipe, so no need to apply a second coat on top. It's very very black. Just what you expect on a black eyeliner. You also need an insy-bit of product to cover one eye, so this i believe will last me a long time even if i use it everyday (which i plan to).
I also dries off to a matte finish. So it looks very natural. Really adds life to an almost monolid babe like me.

My VERDICT:
LOVE:
-Very opaque
-Small and travel-friendly
-Classic dustproof packaging
-No irritating fragrance
-Seamless & easy application
-Less goes a long way
-Price is justifiable
-Does not smudge
-Staying power is too good to be true!
HATE:
-Really nothing to hate about the gel liner itself, the only thing it lacks is its own brush!
REPURCHASE?
-YES! If ever i manage to empty this product.
So if you are hunting for a good eyeliner, i definitely recommend. Looks like this accidental purchase turned out to be one of my greatest! :)

I think MAC Blacktrack is almost a staple, though the Bobbi Brown one is just as good! I'm generally partial to liquid eyeliners, I find it easier to create thinner strokes and I don't need a separate brush, but I go through them a lot quicker than my MAC Blacktrack!
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing a lot of great things about the Bobbi Brown Gel liner. Does the Bobbi Brown Gel Liner comes with it's own brush applicator? :)
DeleteI love mac but the INGLOT Matte Gel eyeliner doesn't smudge on me.... well 200 lang yung difference, depende siguro if u need the super waterproof ones during hot days! thanks for letting me remember na I need to use my BLActraCk again...♥
ReplyDeleteDoes the MAC Fluidline smudge on you? :) I haven't experience any smudging from mine. I'll check the Inglot one out soon. Thanks! :)
DeleteI love this. I might give it a shot as soon as I'm done with my Maybelline Gel Liner. Although, I might get the Stila one first. I fell in love with it after a few more uses and it's one the best eye liners I've tried. Thanks again for that one, btw. Hihi :*
ReplyDeleteI love my Stila too! I'm just finishing up my mini sample size and i'll repurchase, might also throw in a brown one. :D But this MAC is great too! Easy to apply and is really black!
DeleteI had fun reading this. I usually skip eyeliner entries because I have hooded eyes, but recently I've been exploring gel liners (because they're not shiny).
ReplyDeleteKaya pala ito called fluid. I threw away my maybelline, tuggy nga sya on me, and it dried up so fast even when I made sure to screw the cap really tight.
I'm happy you enjoyed reading this! :) I love eyeliners because my eyes looks really boring and lifeless without them. I think i have the same Maybelline Gel Pot, is it the one that comes with a brush? It is really tuggy on me too. :(
Deletethanks for the review I'm gonna try this out :)
