Dissecting Beauty with SumWear Co.: Mini Mascara Collection

I got inspired to post this by Juvy (Plum Cheeks), cause i saw hers. :)

These are all in deluxe/travel sizes i get for free. Perks of being an Online Seller! I am not really a fan of mascaras, i call my lashes 'micro-lashes' since they are hardly noticeable. Once or twice in my life i thought of getting them extended, but friends always discourage me, telling me it's hard to maintain and you can't scratch your eyes, which i tend to always do, unconsciously.

So let's just say i gave up on them, and let them be. But again, i get this for free, and they look really cute so i started collecting them.

I don't really wear them everyday or every time i leave the house, so i know it's a bad idea that i opened them all up at the same time cause they dry up easily, but i don't mind. I'll still be keeping them as displays in my Mini Mascara Collection.

I'll just give you guys a word or two about each(ok, not a just a word or two!) as i recall them.

Too Face Better Than Sex Mascara - i haven't tried this one, so maybe i'll do a separate post. I'm really excited to try this since it's one of those item that are madly blogged about, in a good way. Plus i love the rose gold color of this tube.
YSL Volume Effet Faux Cills Babydoll Mascara - one of my favorites! Really lengthens and adds volume. The only think i dislike, the strong scent it carries even if it's already dry.
Buxom Lash - this mascara is a so-so for me. It thickens my lashes, but don't seem to lengthen it. This mascara has a big scary brush, but it works wonders cause it does not clump at all.
Benefit Bad Gal Lash - again, ordinary mascara that volumize lashes. Did not lengthen my micro-lashes, plus it smudges! So i barely touch this stuff. It can work for girls who have naturally thick lashes.
YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking - favorite-alert! I think i'm inlove with all YSL Mascaras! Lengthens and thickens my lashes! Does not smudge at all! Stays all day! I only have good things to say about this baby. The only thing i don't like is the price, expensive! Eeek!
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-one Mascara - this mascara is great if your on the run, the application is a breeze, and it feels light, you can almost forget you are wearing a mascara. Volumizes my lashes, but tends to smudge in mid day.
Smashbox Photo Op Eye Brightening Mascara - nothing can hold up my curl, but this does hold up my curled lashes for a few hours. Plus i don't know what magic it holds, aside from adding volume and length, it really does brightens and opens up your eyes. Makes you look wide awake, great for chinky-eyed asian girls, like me!
Guerlain Maxi Lash - and the buzzer sounds again, favorite-alert! I don't know why i'm loving mascaras on the expensive side, but i think this one's a little pricey, but definitely worth it! Does everything you expect a mascara to do. And unlike my YSL ones, this does not have a strong scent. And does not smudge! What more can you ask for?
Benefit They're Real Mascara - everybody loves Benefit They're Real, what turned me off is that it smudges pretty bad on me. But if you can live with constant retouching and smudge-wiping, go for it. It will dramatically lengthens your lashes, making it look like you're wearing falsies. But the truth is 'They're Real!' (that's a good commercial line!)
Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes - honestly, i love this mascara because of the packaging. It's gold, yey! Who doesn't like bling? But this pretty much feels like the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes. It's light and just a-ok for a mascara.
